According to Scoopon, their website sells Scoopons—but what is a Scoopon, exactly, and what does it do?
I would like to know what a Scoopon is, too.
A Scoopon is, basically, their fancy way of saying “voucher”. It’s a way to get to experience dining at a fancy restaurant, a good pampering, adventure in the city, or many others, all at a discount! A Scoopon can be up and available for grabs at any period of time, meaning that sometimes Scoopons can only be bought within the span of 24 hours. So if you like the deal then don’t delay; grab it!
How does Scoopon work?
Scoopon posts a, well, Scoopon, on their website, and what you need to do if you want to buy the deal is to “commit” to it. How do you do it? By clicking on the deal and filling in your payment details. After the deal goes “live” (meaning if enough people show their interest in the deal and also sign up for it), then you will be automatically charged and the deal will be sent to the email address you specified.
At which cities can I use my Scoopon?
Your Scoopon can be used at establishments that can be found in the following cities:
- Brisbane/Gold Coast
What happens when the deal doesn’t reach the minimum quota?
Simple—the deal doesn’t go live and you won’t be charged for it.
But I really wanted that deal! What can I do to help it go live?
One of the things you can do to let the deal go live is to share it with your friends, family, colleagues, and social network followers. Spread the word and get them to spread it in turn, and before you know it, you’ll be reaching the quota, and getting to experience the great deal with people you know (and hopefully love to hang out with).
What payment methods are accepted?
Scoopon accepts payment by credit card.
Can I gift a Scoopon?
Yes, you definitely can. It’s also not a problem if the Scoopon is in your name.
Where can I find my Scoopons?
Scoopons are emailed to you when the deal goes live, but you can also access them through your account at the Scoopon website. All your Scoopons can be viewed from there, and you can also print a Scoopon out if you like. Remember that you can’t use a Scoopon more than once, though!
